Dak Lak, the heart of the vast plateau, has about 47 ethnic minorities living together, which creates cultural diversity; the altitude above sea level is from 400m-800m; the average annual temperature is about 240C; Dak Lak is blessed with very nice climate and fertilesoil by nature. Therefore, it is not only famous in the country but also around the world for industrial crops: About 500,000 hectares of coffee; 250,000 hectares of rubber; 100,000 hectares of cashew, avocado, and others. Millions of hectares of primary forest covering the basalt red land with so many plant species blooming all year round alternately provideplentiful nectar sources for the honeybees to forage and refine pure, glitter and quality honey droplets.
Taking these advantes, Ban Me Thuot Honey Bee Joint Stock Company located in Ban Me Thuot city, Dak Lak province has transformed its operation model, promoted research and investment, cooperated with scientists, experts as well as beekeepers, and established honey bee farms applying Vietgap, Globalgap, and Organic production practices in the Highlands, North Central and Southeast regions to supply Vietnam and the world with the best bee products.
